Measure useful links, not people.

DBA Filing Guide does not require accounts or collect applications, business filings, government fees, or identification documents. Filing actions happen on the linked authority’s website.

Official-link counts

When you activate a marked official action link, the browser sends this site only the current page path and action type. The server increments a daily total. We do not store individual events, destination URLs, query strings, names, cookies, or visitor identifiers in these counters. The counter removes totals older than 90 days whenever it records a new activation. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track.

A link activation is not proof that a filing was submitted or accepted. Repeat visits, blocked measurement requests, and automated traffic can affect counts. We use this information to understand which guides help visitors reach an authority.

Hosting and performance

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and processes the request information needed to serve it. That infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser details, URLs, timing, and security signals. Aggregate page and performance reports are separate from our daily official-link counter.

External sites

Following an official link sends you to that authority’s website, where its own privacy practices apply. Check the destination before entering personal or payment information.
